Advocacy with data-based analysis.

Citizens Against the Pellissippi Parkway Extension, Inc. was chartered as a Tennessee non-profit corporation in April 2002.   Our name is commonly abbreviated as CAPPE (pronounced  cap).   We are a citizens group opposed to extension of the Pellissippi Parkway through northeast Blount County.

Board Meeting Schedule:

Second Monday of each month at 7pm,

324 Ellis Avenue, Maryville, TN 3780.

CAPPE supporters are Blount County residents and other concerned citizens who believe this interstate highway is not needed, wastes state resources, and will have negative impacts on the area along the route and on the quality of life in Blount County as a whole.
